Punk, New Wave, Ska- they perform a shed load of classic tunes for jumping around à la Pogo and generally getting into a spiky haired frenzy of fun.
And tonight a real treat punkers, coz after their first set of gobbing greats they’re gonna come back on and do the entire of the Sex Pistols peerless monument in rocknroll ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’. Fantastic.
Knox and His Band – The Vibrators legend, frontman, songwriter, guitarist, Dublin Castle regular and the architect of the superb RnR Rescue just next door…opening for a punk tribute event?! Surely some mistake you might say – but you can knock that in the head, honey. Because Knox ain’t no hung up star type figure, as should be apparent from his enthusiastic dedication to good works…so get in early for this octogenarian legend of British music. He has a great all star all new band who deliver the classics in a fabulously gnarly, garagey, rnb manner. They Vibrate.
